Our mission is to help clients reach their highest performance potential within the sport, exercise and fitness industry. We are a private training provider offering Active IQ and NASM accredited qualifications/CPD for students, athletes, sports coaches and fitness enthusiasts designed to enhance employability within the sport and active leisure sectors. We also deliver our own diploma in strength and conditioning (level 5), AIQ assessor and internal verifier qualifications as well as BASES Supervised Experience for individuals wishing to work towards BASES Accreditation. SPC is the only training provider in Wales approved to deliver the internationally recognised NASM qualifications.

Having looked at options for completing the NASM PT bridging course SPC stood out as the only choice for me. I attended a 4-day NASM CES and PES workshop conducted by Phil Watkins in March 2015. Delivery of the workshop was excellent! The theoretical background was amply referred to and linked to practice. The practical units were very specific, useful and adapted perfectly to the needs of the student. The entire experience was both enriching and enjoyable. Following on from a back and pelvic injury, I was advised by my physiotherapist to look at strength and conditioning, that’s when I found Phil. My request was to help me bulk out a little (I’ve never had many muscles) whilst taking into account my previous injuries. Phil took this on board and built classes that were both enjoyable and physically testing. Phil obviously knows his stuff – great workouts , with good explanation and constant motivation…..highly recommended!!
