Overview

Charles is an approved assessor for SPC.  In addition, he is a 6th Dan black belt in Karate, 3rd Dan black belt in Kick Boxing and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Derby.  He delivers on the Martial Arts programme delivered in Heidelberg, Germany, and has programme leadership duties for the Martial Arts Theory and Practice undergraduate programme.  He is currently an external examiner for two Higher Education Institution’s sports programmes and a keen martial artist who has been practising for 40 years (black belt in Karate, Kickboxing and Kravmaga Instructor); he is also chairman for the Disability Martial Arts Association.
