About this Course
The NASM CPT Bridging Course has been developed as an up-skill for those already qualified as Level 3 personal trainers who are looking to discover the power behind NASM’s Optimum Performance Training (OPT) Model. OPT virtually eliminates programming and program design guesswork for any fitness, sports performance, or sports medicine professional, and provides undisputed results specific to individual needs and goals. Using the evidence-based OPT model, students will learn how to accelerate every client towards any goal. With these skills, students will become a qualified solutions-expert that clients will come back to time and time again.

National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
A level 3 certificate (or equivalent) in personal training
Mode of Study/Resources:
A blended learning approach; the course duration is expected to last up to 3 months. Students are supported by online, interactice resources; they will also attend a 2-day workshop. Students are supported with:
- I-Pod / MP3 Downloads
- Tutor e-mail support
- 2-day workshop which includes a summative practical assessment.
Due to the nature of delivery, enrolments for this award are flexible and on-going. Individuals can enrol at anytime throughout the year, and workshop days can be arranged to fit around a busy schedule.
- NASM online theory exam (multiple choice).
- Summative assessment (written and observed) leading to the NASM International CPT qualification.
Active IQ/NASM do not include a textbook as part of the registration process for this award. However, we highly recommend that you purchase 'NASM Essentials of Personal Fitness Training' to support your studies.
